Are you Local? is a solo physical theatre piece that explores my experience of growing up in a small village in the Lake District. The piece takes place within a circle of rope with the audience in a round. For me this represents my small and isolated world growing up in a rural area. The audience have a passive presence in this world, like teddy bears in my bedroom who I talk to or ignore.

The piece is essentially a rollercoaster of emotions. Memories, feelings, and sensations are explored in non-linear and absurd ways, creating an intimate journey through the ups and downs of growing up.
